Delft Traditions

Paint Inlay, 8 Pages, 12”x16”, Single Color

Available in two colours, Azure and Noir, Delft Traditions draws inspiration from authentic Delftware, a type of tin-glazed pottery that originated in Delft, Netherlands, in the 17th century. The inlay showcases intricate floral patterns, pastoral scenes, and classical motifs, all hallmarks of Delftware.

For those pining over the authentic vintage Delftware in boutiques and antique stores, this collection makes that timeless beauty attainable and affordable.

Project Suggestions:

  • Furniture: Delft patterns go well on drawer panels or as vignette elements for door panels, or knob accents.

  • Small Decor: Decorative plates for wall or hutch display, Jewelry boxes, French style toiletry jars, French-style gourmet gift jars, candles, lamps, vases, and flower pots.

  • Wall Art: Faux salvaged delft tile in shadow box frame.

Pairs Well With:

  • Vintage Textures stamp
  • Kindest regards stamp
  • Le Courrier stamp

Handy Tip: Achieve significantly different looks by changing up the background colour the inlays are placed into.

Delft Traditions Azure 12x16 Decor Paint Inlay pad™ will help you transform your creation in a matter of minutes!

IOD Paint Inlays are ground-breaking, first-in-class, premium art products that will revolutionize the DIY industry and empower creative exploration across all skill levels. In short, they are AH-MAZING, if we do say so ourselves. (Three years in the making so we love them like our kids!)

They’re not a decal; they’re not a synthetic film; they’re not decoupage.

When you apply an IOD Paint Inlay, paint is physically embedded into the surface of your project. After drying, the carrier paper is removed, leaving an authentic painted design and a buttery, almost leather-like surface on your piece.
