PENTART GLUING & VARNISHING
DECOUPAGE VARNISH & GLUE
Matte
Water-based glue and varnish in one for decoupage technique. Dries to a matte finish. Spreads easily and evenly. Use under or over rice paper or napkins. Soak the normal paper in water before gluing. Spread the adhesive varnish on top of the paper, always moving from the center towards the edges, so you can remove air bubbles.
Ultra-Matte
Adhesive and finishing varnish that can be used for decorating stretched canvas, wood, paper, and ceramic surfaces with the decoupage technique. Use it both under and over the paper selected for decoupage. For a uniform effect, coat the entire surface with the adhesive varnish, which, after drying, will have a highly matte effect and will be drip-resistant.
Silky Shine
Water-based glue and varnish in one for decoupage technique. Dries to a silky shine. Spreads easily and evenly. Use under or over rice paper or napkins. Soak the normal paper in water before gluing. Spread the adhesive varnish on top of the paper, moving from the center towards the edges, so that air bubbles can be removed.
Textile
Water-based glue and varnish in one for decoupaging textiles. Spreads easily and evenly. Use it under and over the rice paper or napkin. Soak the normal paper in water before gluing. Spread the adhesive varnish on top of the paper, moving from the center towards the edges, so that air bubbles can be removed. Fix by ironing (inside out, for 30 seconds, on a cotton setting). The textile decorated in this way can also be washed in a washing machine (inside out, with a gentle program).
Ceramic
Water-based glue and varnish in one for decoupaging non-porous surfaces such as glass and glazed ceramics. Spreads easily and evenly. Use under or over rice paper or napkins. Soak the normal paper in water before gluing. Spread the adhesive varnish on top of the paper, moving from the center towards the edges, so that air bubbles can be removed. Burn the object for 5 minutes at 140 ° C, so it can also be cleaned in the dishwasher (use the eco program).
LACQUERS
Glossy Varnish (Solvent)
Solvent-based, slightly yellowish glossy varnish. It is especially recommended for antique effects, such as sealing fine-line crack varnish. Dries to moderately waterproof. After use, the devices can be cleaned with an alcohol solvent.
Colourless Varnish (Solvent)
Fast-drying, colorless, solvent-based varnish. When applying, apply with a soft brush in one direction. Apply two layers for porous surfaces. After drying, the glossy forms a water-resistant surface, while the matte forms a moderately water-resistant surface.
Lacquer Spray
Water-based, silky varnish, in spray form. Recommended for sealing fragile or 3D surfaces. Extremely light varnish, which can be easily controlled thanks to the spray packaging. It is especially recommended for the protection of surfaces decorated with mirror spray paint.
Pouring Glaze
Water-based, high-gloss, transparent, self-spreading varnish suitable for creating a resistant coating. Easy to brush or pour. When applied in several layers, it has a glaze effect. Pour it directly onto the flat surface to create an even, durable layer. Let it air dry. The total drying time depends on the layer thickness.
Glossy Varnish (Water Based)
Water-based, transparent, glossy varnish. It can be diluted with water and is waterproof after drying. It is easy to apply and spreads evenly.
Matte Varnish (Water Based)
Water-based, transparent, matte varnish. It can be diluted with water and is waterproof after drying. It is easy to apply and spreads evenly.
Dekor Lacquers
Matte: Water-based, transparent matte varnish. It is resistant and durable, so it is highly recommended for furniture. It can be distributed evenly. Use it to seal the surface of objects and furniture painted with decorative chalk paint.
Silky: Water-based, transparent, silky varnish. It is resistant and durable, so it is highly recommended for furniture. It can be distributed evenly. Use it to seal the surface of objects and furniture painted with decorative chalk paint.
Soft touch: Water-based, ultra-matte, resistant lacquer for porous surfaces, which is extremely soft to the touch. Spreads easily and spreads easily. The total drying time is 24 hours.
Chameleon Varnishes
Water-based varnish with a pearly sheen and a dramatic chameleon effect. The varnish does not cover the surface, it only gives it an elegant, iridescent shine. Its effect is particularly effective on convex surfaces.
ADHESIVES
3D Glue
Water-based, thick, self-adhesive, drying glue for decorative foil, which keeps its shape, so it can also be used for 3D patterns. You can use it with a stencil or draw with a pen. Let the glue dry completely, then it will become transparent. Then gently smooth the decorative film onto the surface with a soft, dry brush or your fingers. Pull off the foil. If necessary, we can repeat the operation. The artwork can be finished with a water-based varnish. We recommend the use of Pouring varnish, which highlights the color of the film.
Express Glue
Water-based, extremely fast-drying, very strong adhesive that is transparent after drying. Recommended for gluing porous surfaces.
Metal Leaf Glue
Water-based, slow-drying adhesive for gluing smoke foil sheets and smoke foil flakes. Apply a thin layer of glue and let it dry completely transparent. Gently smooth the sheets of smoke foil or the flakes onto it. The surface is protected with solvent-based gloss varnish or Pouring varnish.
Hobby Glue - Tacky
Water-based adhesive that forms a self-adhesive surface after drying. It is excellent for surfaces that are difficult to glue, such as polystyrene. It can also be used for temporary fixing, for example under textiles, so the material does not move during decoration. You can also sprinkle mineral powder or velvet powder on it, which adheres perfectly.
Pigment Fix
A medium that can be used for surface decoration with pigment and glitter powders, which dries transparent and shiny. Mix the medium to the powder slowly until the desired density is reached. It is especially recommended for pigments made of real metal (Metal Pigment Powder / Fempigment), but these are only mixed with the medium directly at the time of use. Always mix only as much as you will use immediately. Depending on its density, the pigment mixture can be used as a paste or paint, it is excellent for highlighting.
SOLVENTS
Solvent - Alcohol Based
Recommended for diluting alcohol-based paints and varnishes and for cleaning tools used for these products. It is also suitable for cleaning and degreasing non-porous surfaces (e.g. glass, porcelain, metal).
Solvent - Turpentine Based
Turpentine-based solvent for removing excess liquid patina and anti-corrosion pastes, or for cleaning tools after using liquid metal.
